Finally found the perfect outfit for your New Year's Eve party, but still want to add an extra something to elevate your look? We've got you covered with 6 hairstyles on how to bring in the new year, sparking as ever. Zip up that dress, sweep some highlighter across on your shoulder and let's get started.
Start by splitting your hair into three parts and section them off with a clip. Take your Ionic Round Brush underneath the first section, angling your roots upwards, as you aim the Signature Dryer from below to give your hair some extra volume. Tip: make sure there's some tension as you glide your brush through since this is what helps prevent frizz! Once the hair's dry, lock in your blow out with the cool shot button. Then, repeat! For some extra volume on the top section, alternate your brush above and below every other section you run through. Don't worry; we didn't design this dryer to double time as an arm workout; it's incredibly lightweight!
Nothing screams New Year's Eve more than a classic Hollywood curl. Section your hair into a deep side part. If your baby hairs begin to go array, spray them down with our Hair-Fie Ready Finishing and Shine Hairspray. Grab your 25mm Classic Curling Wand, take pieces of your hair about a 1" wide. Lay your hair flat against the barrel for 3-5 seconds, catch the curl, let it fall, and repeat. Begin on one side and curl all the pieces away from your face. Tip: to really frame your face with this look, curl the sections of hair that are closest to you towards your face instead! Once you're done, take a brush and glide through the tight curls, leaving you with a timeless hairstyle. Top with hairspray to finish!
Using the Style Setter Hair Straightener, tame all those thick unruly hairs in one go. Give your hair a smooth coat of shine with the Sleeky in a Bottle Serum. Top the style off by dividing your hair into a middle part and secure the front sections of your hair with a bobby pin to ensure your hair stays put all night long. Tip: for an off-the-runway look, take any hair wax and comb the front of your hair back with your fingers to keep the strays away.
For an effortlessly cute holiday ponytail, begin by curling your hair with our 32mm Classic Curling Wand. Finish with hairspray or texturizing spray and tie up into a high ponytail with a holiday ribbon or scrunchie! If you want to add a little more to your 'do, create mini braids through the pony!
Take a pea-sized pump of Argan Oil and massage through hair, working from the tips, up, to keep the frizzies away. Create a deep side part and begin french braiding. Tie with an elastic, and gently tug at the braid to loosen giving it an effortless look. Tip: for a fancier holiday soirée, try two braids on either side, and have them meet in the middle to form a bun. Take some pieces of hair to frame your face, finish with a fancy ribbon, and voilá!
Want more fuller, voluminous hair to go with these styles? Any of these hairstyles can be used with our Mane Attraction Hair Extensions. No clips. No breakage. Just fuller hair in seconds.
