  • Cool it! For increased shine and moisture retention, always rinse conditioner out with cool water, especially if you have bleached or porous hair.

To get all the hydration you can out of your conditioning routine, be sure to scrunch excess water out of your hair before applying then leave conditioner on your hair for up to 5 minutes. If your hair is too wet and you don’t let it sit on your hair long enough, the conditioner won’t absorb as effectively.
