When straightening your hair, be mindful of the size of the sections you take - you should be taking about 1-inch sections of hair. Start at the root of the hair and slowly glide down. Going over the section slowly will ensure you can straighten in one pass. This is the important part - take your time but keep things moving! Do not hold the flat iron in one spot. If you go over the section too fast, it will not be as effective, meaning you will have to continue going over the same strand multiple times to get the same results.

Even if your hair is naturally curly, you can still straighten in one pass with a NuMe Straightener, no need to pre-blow dry it straight! If you're looking for a more voluminous look, then blowout your hair using a round brush and you can touch up any sections with your flat iron.
