Jen Atkin grew up in Hawaii but has called Los Angeles home for over 18 years. When she's not jet setting with Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, she's a product creator and a hair handler for the likes of Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Bella Hadid, Kaia Gerber and many, many more. In case there was any doubt of her legit-ness, The New York Times referred to her as "The Most Influential Hairstylist in the World." Not to outshine her hair talents, Jen Atkin is also really reliable for a good #ootd shot, which you can find on her Instagram, @jenatkinhair.
Serving up love for Jesus and entrepreneurship on Instagram as @kimblehaircare, Kim Kimble was one of the stars of the WE TV hit series, L.A. Hair. She's had a pretty incredible career and a resume to prove it. Celebrity clientele includes Rihanna, Gabrielle Union, Tyra Banks, Nicki Minaj, Kiki Layne, and Vanessa Williams, just to name a few. She is also a go-to stylist for Queen Bey and the woman behind the curtain (of hair) for Lemonade. Need we say more? Kimble is well respected for her innovative looks, products and techniques, and her ability to work with all different types of hair textures.
A favorite on TV shows like TODAY, The Rachael Ray Show and The Wendy Williams Show, Chris Appleton might be just as well known for explaining his iconic looks with a charming British accent as he is for the actual hair skills. You can credit him for the manes on Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner. He kills it creating the "glass hair" look, the "wet hair" look and just about any other look, especially sleek buns and ponies. One of his biggest secrets (that he's totally open about) is a toothbrush in his styling kit. Appleton swears by spraying the toothbrush with a hairspray like our NuMe Hair-Fie Ready Finishing and Shine Hairspray then using it to smooth flyaways and baby hairs. Follow him @chrisappleton1 on Instagram for more tips and a generous amount of JLo cameos.
Glen Oropeza is known primarily as Glen Coco, or by his Insta handle, @glencocoforhair. This Los Angeles based stylist has a superstar roster of clients including Chrissy Teigen, Paris Hilton, Rita Ora and Zooey Deschanel. He's not afraid to get creative with a ponytail and really plays with texture. And his Instagram stories are straight-up art. Glen Coco is an expert at creating a modern curl/wave with a straightener, as demonstrated in this YouTube tutorial using the NuMe Megastar Hair Straightener.
New York-based stylist Christian Wood has recently had his hands on the heads of superstars like Isla Fisher, Emily Ratajkowski, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rosamund Pike, and Sophie Turner. When he's not sharing pics of the gorgeous ladies he's styled, he's got a real way with memes on his Instagram, @cwoodhair. Always behind the scenes at red carpets and fashion shows, recreate the soft curls Christian Wood crafted for Rosie Huntington Whiteley at Ralph Lauren last fall with the NuMe Magic Curling Wand with a 32mm barrel.
