• Create 2 ponytails. One at the top back of your head, just like Barbie’s ponytail, and one right below that. 
• Make a hole above the top ponytail holder in the hair at your scalp. Reach your fingers through the hole and pull the bottom ponytail up through the top, over the top ponytail. That should hide the bottom ponytail elastic.
• Tighten your ponies by pulling on either side of the ponytail.
• Use a fine tooth straightening comb to smooth down any flyaways with a firm hold hairspray.
• Set your hair straightener to 300• and straighten your ponytail in 1-inch sections.

• Heat your curling wand to 300•.
• Begin with the back length. Curl hair upward in 1-2 inch sections. Work your way around the sides. 
• Curl your bangs and side pieces last. All curls should angle up and back away from the face.
• Do a few rockstar hair flips then brush your hair carefully if needed to loosen the curls into fluffy beautiful wings.
• Use a light dusting of finishing spray to set your style.

• Release clips and separate curls with a wide tooth curl comb.
• Finish with a light layer of medium hold hairspray.

• Take your little rubber bands and place them at 1-2 inch spaces down your ponytail.
