These squad-ready girls' night out hairstyles can work for any hair texture. Just be sure to use a hair primer like our Rise and Prime Hair Primer before you do any heat styling.
Go big, or go boho—but why not both? This look combines dramatic waves with on-trend bobby pin creations. Go for a fresh blowout that starts with a volumizer like Root Werk Root Lifter applied to damp roots. Then section off hair and curl with a bigger barrel wand like the like the 32mm NuMe Classic Curling Wand. Gently brush through top layer curls with a soft bristle brush then the bottom later with a wide tooth comb. Spray underneath the top sections with a hair spray along such as our Hair-Fie Ready Finishing Spray. Beauty and lifestyle vlogger, Lyss Ryann, has an excellent tutorial for getting boho waves here.
For the finished look, arrange the bobby pins on one side, toward the front of your hair and face, and close to your part. You can either stack them in an even row or create a hashtag/zig zag situation. Just be sure to insert the pin with the wavy side down and spritz some hairspray on the final look.
If your gal pal outing is going to involve a lot of activity, like bowling or some much needed selfie-taking, it might do you some good to keep the hair sassy, but out of your face. Adding two dutch braids is a great way to accent an everyday plain ole' ponytail. In this video, YouTube hair enthusiast Missy Sue has an easy-to-follow demo for creating this style. The key is to stop adding new sections of hair into the braid once you reach the area behind your ear. Be sure to gently tug the pieces of the braid for a softer, more voluminous look, and pull a strand of hair from underneath the pony to cover the elastic.
This hairstyle is also an excellent option for when you love your girls, but not enough to shower. Just make sure you prep with a powder-based dry shampoo like our Clean N' Mean Dry Shampoo Powder.
This cute hairstyle for a night out is essentially a party on one side and business on the other. It's surely a favorite style of actress Brie Larson, who sports it at formal events quite a bit. Just secure one side of your hair behind your ear and against your head, then leave the other side loose. You can choose this 'do to be either straight or wavy, and usually works best with a deep side part. Larson's stylist for the Avengers: Infinity War premiere shared on Instagram that her biggest secret for this look was applying hairspray to a styling brush, brushing the hair back against the head, spraying flyaways then setting everything with the can of hairspray. If you want a sleek straight foundation for this elegantly asymmetrical look, definitely use a heat protective spray like our Watch Me Werk Thermal Heat Protectant and a high-quality flat iron like the NuMe Megastar Hair Straightener. To create a funky version of this night out hairstyle, add some hair cuffs to the side that are flattering to your head.
