Give 'em Pumpkin to Talk About: Flawless Hairstyles to Rock on Thanksgiving Day

Face Framer

You're probably thinking it's Thanksgiving, not my wedding day but this 90s/early aughts throwback can be kept super casual. It's also a cinch to create with any hair texture (but having a layered cut is ideal). Separate the shortest layers around the face before putting the rest of your hair in a low bun or ponytail. Then use the Classic Curling Wand Reverse for ringlets that are fuller at the ends and hella cute around the face.

Middle Part Glass Hair

straight sleek hair

Very polished and ideal for cool, crisp fall days—this cute hairstyle for Thanksgiving is pretty low maintenance when it's all said (or styled) and done. You'll need to start with some Gloss Boss smoothing serum and a blow out. Then using a flat iron, like the Megastar Hair Straightener, smooth the hair in small sections (the smaller, the better), starting with the bottom layer of your hair and working your way to the top. Finish off with the tiniest dollop of argan oil to really make it shine. This look can easily be pulled back into a low ponytail when you're ready to go to town on a plate of turkey and stuffing.

Holiday Halo Braid

A braid is a great option if you're the one cooking. Your hair will be up and out of your face but still celebratory. There are tons of halo braid tutorials in the wonderful world of Internet hair how-to's but inside-out (or Dutch) braids are your best bet for longer, thick hair, and French braids work better for shorter hair with a finer texture. Get your durable bobby pins ready either way. Dirty hair is clutch for braids. Break out the dry shampoo, like This Dry Shampoo is everything, if you need it!

Messy Top Knot with a Twist

This cute hairstyle for Thanksgiving is for anyone who's serious about the feast at hand and needs their hair to be as far from their mouth as possible. Hold the base of the ponytail at the top of your head but when you pull the elastic over it, don't pull the pony all the way through - stop and twist it over to make the bun. Figure eight that elastic back over the bun to really secure it. Then pull a strand out of the bun from the back and wrap it about the elastic to cover it, tucking the end under it or pinning. Here's an easy to follow step by step if you're a top knot newbie. NuMe Hottie Alert Shine Spray can give this just the right amount of hold without being too stiff.

Deep Part Waves Gone Wild

Your hair is gonna be more memorable than any green bean casserole could ever dream of being. For extra volume, definitely start by drying the hair with a diffuser attachment (after applying some NuMe Root Werk - Root Lifter for volume) then individually wrapping strands with the Classic Curling Wand Pearl to define ringlets. The deep side part is a look that says your favorite Thanksgiving side dish is sass.

So there's five more reasons to be grateful this Thanksgiving. From turkey at the table to the ball drop at New Year's, these cute hairstyles for Thanksgiving can carry you through the holiday season and beyond.
